Park Ridge, New Jersey 07656 CSA-13 Service Bulletin Hi-Fi Products No. Model: TA-AV521, TA-AV621 341R1 Subject: Audio Cuts Out, Unit In Protect - R807 & R857 Symptom: (51) Date: August 9, 1996 When operating in the SIMULATED or HALL SURROUND MODE, the Rear level is set to 50% maximum level or greater and the Master Volume is turned up, the unit goes into protect. Solution: Verify that the unit is being operated with speakers rated at 8 ohms. If the unit goes into protect with 8 ohm speakers then replace resistors R807 (Rear Board) and R857 (Center Board) with the resistors shown in the chart below.
